Seevy looked up and smiled, "Yes," she glanced at Stark who nodded along, even though he didnt like his sister having feelings for soemone in the games, he knew they would need at least one allie.
Skye walked through the forest, a small knife in her pocket and a backpack on her back, climbing a tree, knowing soon she would meet up with the Law siblings.
Kade nodded, "Those people are violent, a bow and arrow through my hand, geez. At least we got what we needed and enough weapons and food for a while." Shrugged his shoulders.
She shook her head at him, "I got my swords and i guess some food." Sighed a little after hearing the cannon, "Poor kid... Didnt make the first 30 minutes."
Kade shrugged his shoulders, "I guess." The blood has stopped and the pain had decreased. "Lets set up camp before it gets to dark."
Kade looked at Jace and made a face of pain before grinning a little and getting up to help, and Jace followed suit, a small, shadowed smile on his lips at his friends weird personality.
Seevy shook her head, "Oh well. It had to be someone I guess." She got one of the knives out and handed it to Stark, who took it gratefully and kept sharpening sticks to where they would pierce skin if needed.
Alec looked around where they were camped out. He couldn't see anyone, or hear anyone else. He turned back to them. "Do you think anyone is after you guys?"
Seevy looked up and smiles at him. "Okay then. Thanks."
"Well I hate to break up this little love fest but im gonna go gather water for us, be back soon!" Stark tried not to laugh at his sisters face and turned around and jogged off, chuckling lightly.
Alec looked at her. "So are you close with anyone back in your district?" he asked, knowing he wasn't. He was always awkward when it came to making friends or talking about them.
"Yes." Laughed a little, "I loved my entire district, my friends, my family, I loved them all. School was a haven though, seeing friends and teachers, I already miss it. But I know I'm doing the right thing." Shrugged her shoulders a little bit, remembering everyone before going back to high alert.
"Oh." Alec felt a tad mad that Stark thought he was going to die that easy. He knew he wouldn't die without a fight, whether he knew he could win or not.
Saw the anger in his eyes and blinked. "He doesn't think your gonna die. That's the problem, he doesn't want you to, and I'd I have emotional ties to you, I'd have a breakdown, so he's trying to prevent it, but I'm gonna die either way, so I don't understand him."
Alec looked at her. "How do you know? No one in here knows whether they're gonna win or die yet. So far only one person has died, and he was being stupid."
"Because I will die to protect my brother." Said simply and looked at him, "He's all I have now in this, and I want to make sure he is alive as long as I am. Once I die, he's on his own, but as long as I'm breathing, I want him alive too."
"Dont get me wrong when I do this, but," Looked at him before she lost her course, and Seevy leaned over and pressed her lips to his before pulling away, blinking at how her stomach fluttered. "Sorry." Stood up and walked over to a tree and got a knife, drawing designs in it.
He blinked, obviously confused. The only girl he had ever kissed before was a girlfriend he had for a week. And she had broken up with HIM. He turned to his arrows and sharpened them on a rock, embarressed.
Stark walked back and looked at the two of them, obviously confused. He dropped the jug of water and started trying to wipe the dirt off of him from where he had tripped, when Seevy saw him and walked over, wiping his face off with her hands and cleaning him up a little, silently.
"What did he do?" Stark instantly demanded, popping his sisters hand away from him.
"I kissed him." Seevy replied calmly, hearing something from Behind her suddenly, she looked at Stark who hadn't seen it, and she watched as a shadow came up closer. Seevy slid the knife out from her pocket to see Penelope Stevens from District Sic, holding a huge knife out. "Of course. Stay back Stark."
Alec had already shot and killed three strange bird species, he guessed, the capitol had bred. They were pitch black, but with razor sharp talons and beaks. He decided to ask Stark and Seevy what they thought about them.
Seevy and the girls fight didn't last long, an although Seevy thought she could win, she girls longer knife easily overtook her. Seevy fell to the ground, and before the girl could move, a stick as sharp as a needle was pierced through her heart. Stark fell to the ground beside his sister and listened to a pulse, but found none. "NO! COME BACK!"
Alec heard a yell, and ran back, dropping two of the three birds he had killed. When he got there, all he saw was the hovercraft lifing Seevy up and out of the arena.
""DON'T TOUCH HER!" Stark yelled desperately, throwing anything he laid his hands on at the hovercraft, his face fed and puffy before he fell on the groud in defeat. "Seevy..." He took a deep breathe before standing up and gathering weapons. "I'm going to kick butt, Seevy style. You in or out?"

ReplyDelete"Skye Daniels. District four." Muttered under her breathe after a second, before sitting down in the grass. "What about you?"
Alec blinked. "As far as I know, I have no one who's after me.."
