Seevy walked up to the house hesitantly, it had been 3 years since the hunger games, since her near death experience. She had changed a lot, more thankful, her age had only enhanced her beauty even more, and now she was here to face the one person who had kept her alive after she had found out about Starks death. She knocked on the door and took a step back.
"I'm Seevy Laws. From The Hunger Games three years back. May I speak to your brother please? I need to know how my own brother passed." Said politely, thinking she was his sister.
Seevy froze. Wife? He has a wife. He's married. Seevy took a deep breathe and looked away, feeling her heart break. Alex had been the only man she had ever kissed, and she had wanted him to be her last, but that was out of question now.
"No." She shook her head, "Thanks." She looked at him, hurt and pain in her eyes. "I didn't know you had a wife? But I guess when you hike for three years to see someone, you miss out on a lot."
Alec looked at her. "Look, I can't really say anything else right here. If you come in, I can explain." He had an urgency to his tone that he hoped would convince her to talk to him.
"K." Had a snappiness in her tone and has her arms crossed over her chest in a protective manner, and she just walked into the house without waiting, feeling the need to make Him feel the pain she had been feeling.
He shut the door, and lightly grabbed her arm, leading her up the stairs. He entered his room, shut the door, and turned to face her. "Look, everything you saw down there is a lie. A lie of the Capitol."
"And I'm sure you don't love her, now or do you? If you would have felt anything for me, you would have tried to find me like a normal human being! I came her for two reasons, and ones obviously out of the question, so, how did my brother die?" Seevy asked, looking at him through her blazing blue eyes now, which anger was trying to overtake the pain she was feeling, but she wouldn't let the anger get to much of her.
"Wait a second... children?" Seevy looked at him, really hoping that he didnt have kids so there was still a small chance they could be together, since she knew if he had kids, he wouldnt want to leave.
"Thats horrible!" Popped him lightly in the back of the head. "You should love your children, no matter what." Put on a serious smirk, going back to the old Seevy for a second before she looked at him and nodded, "Okay then."
He shrugged. "If I didn't want them in the first place, why should I now? I know it sounds harsh, but they'd be better off without me anyways.." He trailed off and looked at Seevy. He sighed and sat down. "I've missed you, you know. But I couldn't do anything about it."
Seevy sighed lightly and looked at him, "Ill just go... Itd be to awkward and weird down there, your wife probably hates me for just asking for you at the door." Laughed a little bit but after a second stood up.
She looked at him and nodded, "I know I should... But I won't." She smiled a little bit and walked on to the kitchen so his wife wouldn't get suspicious of anything, or of her.
He walked to the kitchen and sat down beside his son, who looked bored and ready to go to sleep. The son looked terribly like Alec, and the daughter even had Alec's eyes. They both looked over at Seevy.
Seevy looked down casually, already feeling the awkwardness she knew was going to hit her if she stayed. She had noticed how much the boy looked like Alec and even though she didn't want to, she had to admit that she was out of place and seeing his kids didn't make it any easier.
The son finally spoke. "Hi, i'm Dustin. What's your name?" His bright blue eyes burned into Seevy, waiting for an answer. Alec and the others just ate quietly.
He nodded. "Mom, i'm excusing myself." he stood up,and walked away, his sister running after him. Alec cleared his throat and looked at his wife. "Honey, i'm gonna walk Seevy home." He gave her a warm, fake smile and stood up. She nodded and smiled at him.
Raised an eyebrow at him when she knew the wife couldn't see but stood up and smiled at the wife, "Thanks. Nice meeting you, I must get home to my own daughter and husband now." She smiles again and walked out, hoping Alec knew better not to call her out on her bluff to fool his wife, and to insure her nothing was going on between them.
Laughed a little. "In the woods? Remember, I live in a whole mother district..." She looked at his face and couldn't help but laughing at his forgetfulness again.
"I planned on sleeping in a tree so I could start looking for a home here tomorrow..." She shrugged a little, "My family can wait until I'm settled to know the secret that I'm alive."
"Well, I'm sleeping in a tree and watching the stars for the night, and I guess your wife will want you back home soon, so I'll just see you around. Maybe you can visit me when I buy my house here." She smiled, lighting up her face, happy she had finally decided to stay in district 7 and start new.
"Possibly." Said and looked at him one last time before jumpin up onto the fence and throwing one leg over and looking down on him. "Goodnight Alec." She then disappeared on the other side of the fence.
Seevy had washed in a creek early in the morning and was in town long before any others were up. By the time people were stirring, Seevy was already getting wolf whistled at hit on, as she sat there calmly waiting to see something she felt like eating.
Alec and his family went out for breakfast, walking into a restraunt across from where Seevy was. If Alec saw her, he didn't show it, for the fear or being caught. His son, Dustin, noticed her though.
Seevy saw him and knew he had saw her, making a streak flare inside her. She walked up to the best looking of the guys who were trying desperately to get her attention and she started flirting shamelessly, touching his arms softly and smiling at him, while talking.

ReplyDeleteShe blinked, "Is this the home of Alec Bagens..?"
ReplyDeleteShe nodded. "Yes, who's asking, exactically?"
ReplyDelete"I'm Seevy Laws. From The Hunger Games three years back. May I speak to your brother please? I need to know how my own brother passed." Said politely, thinking she was his sister.
ReplyDelete"Brother? Oh no. He's my husband. But yeah, i'll get him. Wait here please." She said, closing the door.

ReplyDelete"Wait a second... children?" Seevy looked at him, really hoping that he didnt have kids so there was still a small chance they could be together, since she knew if he had kids, he wouldnt want to leave.
ReplyDeleteHe nodded at her. "Yeah. I'm sorry, I had too or else I would have been killed. But I have no attachment to either of my kids." he promised her.
ReplyDelete"Thats horrible!" Popped him lightly in the back of the head. "You should love your children, no matter what." Put on a serious smirk, going back to the old Seevy for a second before she looked at him and nodded, "Okay then."

ReplyDeleteHe smiled a bit. He then frowned as his "wife" called for him from downstairs. "Alec, honey! Dinners ready! Bring your friend too!"
ReplyDeleteSeevy sighed lightly and looked at him, "Ill just go... Itd be to awkward and weird down there, your wife probably hates me for just asking for you at the door." Laughed a little bit but after a second stood up.
ReplyDeleteAlec stood up quickly and grabbed her hand. "Don't go. At least not yet. Please." He looked at her, a tad sad, and a little mad at himself.
ReplyDeleteShe looked at him and nodded, "I know I should... But I won't." She smiled a little bit and walked on to the kitchen so his wife wouldn't get suspicious of anything, or of her.

ReplyDeleteLaughed a little. "In the woods? Remember, I live in a whole mother district..." She looked at his face and couldn't help but laughing at his forgetfulness again.
ReplyDeleteAlec smacked his face. "Right. Well i'll walk with you over there.. Is that okay?" He looked at her for approval.
ReplyDelete"I planned on sleeping in a tree so I could start looking for a home here tomorrow..." She shrugged a little, "My family can wait until I'm settled to know the secret that I'm alive."
ReplyDeleteHe blinked. "So where exactically are we going..?" Alec looked a tad comfused and shook his head. "How about you lead the way?"
ReplyDelete"Well, I'm sleeping in a tree and watching the stars for the night, and I guess your wife will want you back home soon, so I'll just see you around. Maybe you can visit me when I buy my house here." She smiled, lighting up her face, happy she had finally decided to stay in district 7 and start new.
ReplyDeleteAlec nodded. "It's probably best. If i'm gone too long they might start suspecting something.." He looked down. "I'll see you tomorrow, then?"
ReplyDelete"Possibly." Said and looked at him one last time before jumpin up onto the fence and throwing one leg over and looking down on him. "Goodnight Alec." She then disappeared on the other side of the fence.
ReplyDeleteAlec walked back home, and into the house. His family had gone to bed, so he did the same.
ReplyDelete(Should we skip to the morning?)
(Yes.)
